Best Hairstyles For Black Women 2017

Hairstyles Ideas For Black Women:

Many black women find their hair difficult to manage. Their hair is naturally curly and frizzy and can be quite frustrating to manage. If you want to stay natural, you can’t do anything about the texture of your hair. But you can choose how to style it. There are plenty of ways to turn your hair to your advantage. You could choose from a range of looks, like bold, or subtle, curly, straight, and the list goes on. Coloring your hair can also complement your skin tone and add to your beauty. Check out these popular hair dos for black women.

1- Cone

This cut involves chopping a lot of your hair. In fact, you will have to cut your hair close to the scalp at the sides and back and only allow the hair to grow at the front and center. The nature of your hair will ensure that it grows upwards and forms a cone-like style. This is a bold and chic style.

2- Forward Clip

|This one is pretty simple and quite quirky too. Just comb your hair back and for some of you the hair separates into spaghetti clusters. Twist it upwards once and secure it with a clip. Push the hair forward. You will see a beautiful fountain of hair fanning your face.

3- Afro

Of course, the afro is a style adopted by men and women alike. Instead of looking at it as a sign of defeat, one can actually make an afro look very beautiful. For instance, just pin a flower to your hair that matches your dress. It will have a tremendous impact on your look. Or add highlights of different colors for a whacky appearance.

4- Mushroom

The mushroom cut is similar to the cone. You will have to cut most of the hair at the sides and back. But you can’t just let the remaining hair grow as in the cone. That portion must be cut in a square shape, flattening the hair. It’s a daring style, but if pulled off correctly, can look brilliant.

5- Shingling

If you don’t mind using a little gel, you could have a headful of curls. There are lot of different hair textures but shingling is easy and works for most hair types. You could either use a brush or the fingertips. After shampooing, put the conditioner on and leave it in. Put gel on the whole head. Spin fingers or brush in a circular clock-wise motion. Continue to go around the head until curls form and become firm.

Given the nature of your hair you may have to use more gel than others but after you do it a couple of times, you will learn exactly how much you need. This is a beautiful look and you will get loads of compliments.
