Best Fashion Moments: 90s Fashion Trends That Might Be Trending In 2017

The fashion of the 90s started late, since the eighties were maintained until the early 90's ... but when it gained ground, it began, somehow, as a rebellion against the exaggerated appearance of the eighties. Minimal makeup, natural or even poorly maintained hair, ripped jeans, baggy clothing, and lots and lots of flannel took over. But the 1990s soon gave way to much more; It became a true moment of freedom and expression of fashion. From street looks to goth looks to retro flower children looks to futuristic pop-star star and naughty school girls look, people were pretty unique in the 1990s. So, from Somehow, this list was really difficult to write, because there are so many iconic fashions of the 1990s.

Get ready to go retro!

It is almost strange to think of the 90's as "retro" for this writer, as the 1990's perpetually feels like a few years ago for me (which obviously is not the case); But I lived my elemental, tween and a part of my adolescence in the 90s, after all, so I experienced with all its force the years of the hangover of the 80's fashion, the rebellion against the fashion of the 80's, The grunge movement, raver culture, hip hop culture, gothic nation, idolatry of "supermodels", the biggest influence of the entertainment industry on everyday fashion, acceptance of street wear and not try So hard, global influence, Internet, and yes ... The famous (or infamous) Jennifer Aniston haircut: "La Rachel". So, it does not look so "retro" to me, especially since my closet is actually still full of fashions from the 90's and I still carry many of these looks ...

But I think I can understand how it would feel "retro" for others. Actually, it's probably like in the 1990s, when we were all taking iconic looks from the 1960s and 1970s. Only now do I feel like then. (No, not old. Well ... maybe a little.)

"Retro" or not, there is "No Doubt" (do you understand?) That the fashion of the 90s continues to influence today's fashion.
